Volunteers 2020

Volunteer for the Wine Walk

Volunteering at the Wine Walk is a great way to spend an evening with your friends and neighbors while unwinding from your day in the fresh, evening air!

We would love to have your help. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available and we want you to have as much fun volunteering as we do!

Volunteer Registration
We want friendly, fun loving and dedicated volunteers! Sign-up early and invite your friends to volunteer as well! A confirmation will be sent once your registration has been received. Please note, completing the volunteer application does not ensure your participation.

Location & Date
November 12, 2020
Market Street: 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380

Minimum Age Requirements
Volunteers must be 21 years of age to pour wine or beer samples. For those volunteers that are not yet 21 (but 18 or older) we do have other event volunteer opportunities during the event.

TABC Certification Requirements
To pour alcoholic beverages, you must be 21 or over and a TABC certified server. Please bring your certificate to the event. If you do not have TABC certification, there are many online courses that take about an hour or two that provide you with a license immediately after you complete the course. Click Here for a link to TABC approved online courses.

Check-In
The location of the volunteer check-in area will be identified closer to the event. Please allow adequate time to allow for traffic, parking (to be discussed at a later time) and check-in.

On-Duty Rules
Volunteers may not (under any circumstances) over-indulge. Overindulgence on-site (or the appearance or suggestion of overindulgence) will result in immediate removal from the event.

Attendance
We are counting on you! If your schedule changes, please contact us immediately.

Arrival & Breaks
Please allow adequate time to allow for traffic, parking (to be discussed at a later time) and check-in. Arrive at check-in at your scheduled shift time. Your breaks will be coordinated by your Volunteer Coordinator.

Attire

For this event, please come dressed in resort casual attire and be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you will be standing for some time. We recommend closed toe shoes for your safety.

Safety

All volunteers are required to print out the self-reported health screening form (emailed out closer to the event), check your temperature before you leave your house, bring the form with you to the event, have your temperature taken upon arrival and log it. Then turn in your sheet upon leaving the property.

Volunteers will be required to wear face coverings. Face coverings will be provided if you don’t have one.

All volunteers must self-evaluate before coming to the event. Should they meet any of the following guidelines, they may not attend the event:
  • Should a volunteer have a fever (>100.4 degrees), cough or shortness of breath
  • Should a volunteer have been on a cruise or traveled internationally in the previous 14 days
  • Should a volunteer have had close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (in the prior 14 days) or are currently in close contact with someone who is showing signs of COVID-19
  • Should a volunteer show symptoms of COVID-19 in the previous 14 days before the event even without a positive test
