Kim Korth
Owner/Publisher, Edible Houston Magazine

Kim is the owner of Edible Houston. After news of her husband's relocation to Houston, she was excited to explore the locavore scene and was surprised to learn there was not an Edible supporting her new community. As 30+ year supporter of buying local and eating real food she knew her new hometown needed Edible Houston so she brought the magazine to Houston in 2015. Prior to moving to Houston, Kim's recent professional background was in wildlife conservation and habitat restoration. However, food has always been a part of her life - she has managed a restaurant, worked is sales for a food distribution company, catered, and worked in the food and beverage department of a hotel. Kim has made it her habit to find local off the beaten path places to shop, eat and enjoy wherever she goes.  Since moving to Houston in 2015, she frequents farmers markets, locally owned eateries and shops, and finds other opportunities to promote and support local business owners.
