Vance Maldanado
General Manager, Crush, A Wine Lounge
Vance Maldonado is a partner of Crush Enterprises LLC and the General Manger of Crush, A Wine Lounge. He joined the company in the early planning stages when Crush was initiated as a concept. He comes from a food and beverage background including owner/manager of Spices Grill in Kingsville Texas and Director of Operations for The Tasting Room in Houston.
Vance has worked with such accomplished chefs as Eric Lagrosse and Dominique Boquier of Au Petit Paris, John Watt of Prego, John Sheely of Mockingbird Bistro, Jason Gould of Gravitas and Dylan Murray of benjy’s.
At Crush, Vance takes a different approach to service and wine selection. “Based on previous experience, our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our guests. If that means we change our wine list weekly, then so be it.”
