Even at 29, Travis Cabler is a veteran of the Northshore restaurant scene, having worked in some of the area's best kitchens. Cabler currently is executive chef of Friends Coastal Restaurant in Madisonville, LA, known for a fresh, fun menu centered around the theme "Key West Meets New Orleans" and for its great series of decks overlooking the scenic Tchefuncte River.
Cabler also has served as executive chef at the charming and eclectic Etoile in downtown Covington and worked with two of the Northshore's most respected chefs, Marvin Tweedy of Amis and Kim Kringlie of Dakota.
