Local entrepreneurs Selina and Steve Shadd of Atascocita, founders of the Chocolate Festival of Texas and the Lake Houston Bridal Show are pleased to announce their new business venture, Texas Grape Escapes. They will be providing day trip tours to local wineries, restaurants, bakeries, cooking schools and farms. The public tours will be from 6 - 8 hours, all inclusive including lunch or dinner, tastings, samplings, and cooking classes.

Day tours of wineries are within 100 miles of Houston, there are 20 wineries in the area. Leave the driving to us! They have partnered with The Original Trolley Company to ride in style and comfort in an updated old fashioned trolley. Each tour can accommodate up to 22 guests. The tours are scheduled to leave from The Woodlands & Kingwood/Atascocita/Humble areas.

Texas Grape Escapes is available for private tours for your group, party, etc. Leave all the planning to them! Weekday and Weekend Tours available. Leave from any Houston area you choose.

The Shadd's are very passionate about promoting Texas made products and enjoy Texas wines. Steve is a native Houstonian and Selina has lived in Texas since high school, born and raised in Bergen County, NJ. The tours are designed to promote Texas Wineries and Texas Foods through the Texas Dept of Agriculture Go Texan Foods. Shop locally there are so many great products in Texas to be proud of and enjoy from this great state.
