Jason Weaver
Executive Chef, The Omni Dallas Hotel
The Omni Dallas Hotel has hired Jason Weaver as executive chef of the $500 million city-owned hotel. Weaver is responsible for the menus at the hotel's five restaurants, as well as banquet, catering and room service dining. Weaver most recently worked as executive chef of the La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa in Montgomery, Ala. He previously worked in Dallas as Executive Chef of the French Room at the Adolphus Hotel, as well as stints at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas and Manhattan.
The Omni Dallas's five restaurants include Texas Spice, a farm-to-market concept, The Owner's Box, a sports restaurant, Uptown Terrace, a bar and grill with lounge seating, Lobby Lounge and Morsels, a coffee bar. The hotel has 1,000 rooms is part of a goal to bring more citywide conventions, or those with more than 2,500 room nights, to Dallas.
