Carlos Serrano, Vina Montes
Born in Santiago - Chile in May 20th. 1966 He is married, and has three children. Carlos graduated as a Commercial Engineer (Ingeniero Comercial, Licenciado en Ciencias de la Administración) from Universidad de Chile in 1991. He has an MBA degree at Bordeaux Business School of University of Bordeaux (France) where he graduated they year 2005.
From 1994 to 2000 he worked for Viña Undurraga as export manager where he was responsible for opening new markets for the wines in Asia, Europe and Canada. Also at this time Carlos was Vice President of the Asian Committee at Asociación de Exportadores de Vino, and from 1995 to 1998 he was Vice President of Asia Mission. In August 2000 he then joined Vina Montes as the Export Manager, where his responsibilities include managing the Europe, Canada and also part of Asia (Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, China and Vietnam).
He is currently member of the Board of Wines of Chile association. One of his main hobbies is running, sport that has brought him to New York Marathon in 2001. Also he is active member of the Fire fighters squad in Santiago.
