Sous Chef, Kirby's Prime Steakhouse

Carl Flowers has been in the restaurant industry for 12 years. Formally trained in the Houston Community College Culinary Arts Program he graduated in 2003. Much extracurricular time was spent focusing on classic French influences and charcuterie work as well as other international cuisines. The culmination of this training led to his role as Executive Chef the following year at a family owned New American cuisine restaurant.

While there he not only focused on daily features but was influential in there wine program. Aspiring for even more sophisticated cuisine Carl set his sights on The Woodlands, Texas.

In 2006 Carl acquired a position as Sous Chef at Kirby's in The Woodlands. Under Executive Chef Daniel Nemec's guidance Carl has learned a new standard for cuisine as well as the work he performs. Carl prides himself on expanding on the customer experience in all aspects, from custom entrees to delicious desserts.

Chef Flowers daily features are an integral part of The Woodland's dining experience complimenting Chef Nemec's already spectacular menu.
