Is there anything better than the smell of meat searing on the grill on a sultry, Southern, summer evening? Not much! But what if that meat is being prepared by some of the best chefs in the area, and it's accompanied by an ice cold brewski or a smooth glass of wine, AND there's live music from the Robert Hartye Band?

Grab your partner and shuffle on down to The Woodlands Waterway Marriot Hotel & Convention Center lobby for a Texas party second to none. This totally dressed-down event will offer you the best and most unique sliders in the region prepared by chefs competing for YOUR vote to win the Shining Slider Award. Knock those sliders down with wines and specialty beers you might find yourself tempted to two-step the night away.

Slider competition is from 6 - 8pm followed by the awarding of the Shining Slider Chef winner. Presented by Rebecca Lang of Southern Living Television and Author of Quick Fix Southern. Libations and music will flow through 9:30pm. Get your tickets today.
