A new addition to the Wine & Food Week event line-up is Natural Street @ Market Street. Held in Central Park at Market Street, Natural Street is a Green Living Fair for the family. Admission is free with a recyclable item and will feature family education on how to sustain & protect our world in a fun, friendly environment.

Activities including Kidz R Cooking classes guided by Chef Tiffany of Texas Beef Council offering hands-on teaching on how to explore flavors using healthy ingredients while preparing fun & tasty fare.

Featured exhibitors include body+soul magazine, 3-A-Day, Houston Arboretum, U.S. Green Building Council interactive maze and a kids craft zone using repurposed materials as well as showcasing products and services that embrace "green" living, "green" building and a mindful approach to living.

Lexus hybrid vehicles will be on display courtesy of Northside Lexus.

The environmental benefits of green living allow us to enhance and protect ecosystems and biodiversity, improve air and water quality, reduce solid waste and conserve natural resources. The economic benefits are great because being mindful and using green building products help to reduce operating costs, enhance asset values, improve employee productivity and satisfaction, optimize life-cycle economic performance and contribute to overall quality of life now and in the generations to come.
