Step into a wonderland of food and wine. This elegant evening touts live action preparations by accomplished Chefs from all across the country competing for the Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs Award. The winning Chef will be award $5,000 cash prize and prize package on-stage. Judges include Teresa Byrne-Dodge, Publisher, My Table Magazine; Patricia Sharpe, Food Editor, TEXAS MONTHLY; Marian Cairns, Food Editor, Southern Living; Piero Salvaggio, Restaurteur, Valentino Vin Bar; Stephen Griffin, CCM, Culinary Instructor, Art Institute of Houston; Jose Duarte, Executive Chef, Taranta Boston and winner of the 2008 Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs Award. Taste their submissions and savor the flavors of their culinary creations.
You'll experience live on-stage Chef presentations admist 500 wines. It's a sensory overload but we're sure you can handle it!

Rendezvouzers can bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as a Napa Valley trip for two with behind the scenes visits with winemakers, private in-home culinary sessions, in-home private wine tastings and much more. 100% of the revenues of the Live Auction benefits culinary scholarships for students attending Houston Community College.
The Silent Auction boasts selections of large format wines, wine flights, wine dinner experiences and more to benefit Swing for a Cure. A Sweet ending to a fantastic evening is provided by Capital One Bank who brings you the "Just Desserts" Zone presented by My Table Magazine. Pastry Chefs will offer their competing selections for the Dessert Chef of the Wine Rendezvous who also wins a cash and prize package.
