Erick Madden
Executive Chef, The Tasting Room Kings Harbor

Houston native, Erick Madden, began his journey into the culinary world in a non-traditional way. While on tour in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division, Madden was able to take a trip back to the states where he saw a commercial for the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin. After seeing that commercial, and thinking about his future, he decided that his love for cooking could be put to good use. Madden held multiple positions in various kitchens, honing his culinary skills following graduation from the Texas Culinary Academy, including Sous Chef at The University of Texas’ Jester Hall, Chef and Owner of Village Bistro in Spring, Texas and Sous Chef at Trio Steakhouse & Bar in Houston. Following his successful stints at various restaurants from 2006-2012, Madden joined The Tasting Room at Uptown Park team in April 2012 as a pizza cook, where he quickly moved up the ranks to Lead Line Cook, Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef. In December 2013, Madden moved to The Tasting Room at Kings Harbor, where he currently manages the kitchen as Executive Chef. In his spare time, Madden enjoys spending time with his family.
