Executive Chef, Kirby's Prime Steakhouse

As one of our original Sous Chef’s at Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse in The Woodlands, Chef Clarence is very passionate about food and its meticulous preparation.  After spending a few years learning from Executive Chef Daniel Nemec, Clarence then branched out and became the Executive Chef of Cru Wine Bar from 2007 to 2009. While there, he expanded his knowledge of wine by executing many wine paired dinners and tasting menus. 

In 2009 he left Cru to open D’Vine Wine Bar in Cypress as an Operating Partner, where he continued to expand his palette.  In August of 2012 he found his way back to Kirby’s Steakhouse, where he now shares his experience and culinary passion of food and wine with all of The Woodlands once again.  In addition Chef Clarence is now part of the opening team for our newest concept Nickel & Rye, a bar located in the Uptown area of Dallas, Tx. 

We are very lucky to have such an amazing, passionate Chef overseeing our kitchen.  Once you meet him you will understand.
